SIGMACO Type 81 Gen 2 Handguard - Go Canada Go
Hey there, fellow gun-totin' Canucks! Are ya lookin' to spruce up yer Type 81 rifle and make it shine like a new Loonie? Well, hold onto yer toques 'cause Sigmaco's got just the thing for ya – Sigmaco Canada and their top notch Type 81 handguard that looks and feels better than a cold Kokanee on a hot day, eh?
This aluminum handguard crafted right here in Canada, can be run as a full replacement, or just used as a lower handguard where the operator does not have a need to utilize anything on the top rail.
The lower handguard contains 3 slots of MLOK at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions for the mounting of weapon lights, foregrips, handstops, etc. and also has four threaded holes located on the rear for the mounting of future above-receiver mounting solutions.
The upper handguard has 8 inches of zero-holding picatinny, ideal for mounting optics, and lasers. Removing the upper handguard requires removing four countersunk screws, this must be done for cleaning but shows significant repeatability upon re-installation.
The entire handguard is expandable to a full length handguard with the release of the Gen 2 extension (TBA).
Please note that the front ferrule screw is not used when installing the handguard on the LMG.
