The Magpul STR Carbine Stock – Mil-Spec serves as a ready-to-use replacement for the buttstock on AR15/M4 carbines equipped with Mil-Spec sized receiver extension tubes. An upgraded version of the CTR, the STR offers an improved cheek weld and features two water-resistant battery tubes within its compact, reinforced polymer A-frame design.

To ensure secure operation and minimize unintended movements, the STR incorporates a shielded operation lever and an additional friction locking system. These elements contribute to heightened weapon stability and accuracy. The stock also includes two built-in sling loops, a reversible push-button QD sling mount, and a replaceable 0.30″ thick rubber butt-pad. This butt-pad ensures a secure shoulder grip, preventing slippage even when wearing body armor or modular gear.
